The Old Byre is situated in the traditional crofting township of Arrina, on the Applecross coast road. On the South side of Loch Torridon there are stunning views of Beinn Alligin and Liathach beyond. Arrina is 10 miles from Shieldaig and 15 miles from Applecross.

The Old Byre is a tastefully converted byre (cow shed) to the rear of the Old School. In years gone by it would have housed the teacher's cow.
Facilities have improved immensely, and it now offers cosy and comfortable accommodation for two humans.
There are twin beds, each with an electric blanket. The beds can be put together if required.
There's a dining table and fold-up chairs; easy chairs and a sofa; TV and radio. There is a shower room and toilet to one end, and a kitchen with fridge, oven/ hob/grill and all crockery and cutlery.
All linen and towels are provided.
The tariff is £25 per person per night plus electricity used at 20p per unit, with a minimum stay of two nights. It is not suitable for pets or children.
